  • Ohio town’s schools evacuated amid Trump anti-immigrant drive. Schools in the Ohio town of Loveland were evacuated on September 13, 2024, after a man threatened to shoot up the place if the town did not stop allowing immigrants to settle there. The man was arrested without incident.   
  • Malaysia widens probe into ‘horror’ care home child abuse. Malaysian police have widened their investigation into the abuse of children at a care home in Selangor state. The abuse was exposed by a whistleblower who filmed footage of children being beaten and mistreated.
