The Hawks say 11 suspects including a former Minister will be appearing in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court in Mbombela on Wednesday.
It is alleged that they were involved in dubious land deals amounting to almost R124 million in 2011.
Hawks spokesperson Philane Nkwalase says the accused will appear on several charges including corruption, fraud, theft and money laundering.
It is alleged that during February 2012 a complaint was made about Msukalingwa municipality that allegedly bought Retief Farm in Ermelo that was worth R11 million yet it was sold for about R36.4 million in 2011.
